Who We Are

Mount Tabor Online Services is a health care information technology company based in Portland, Oregon. Mount Tabor was founded in 2007 to help with the long overdue computerization of the US health care system, by planning, designing, building, launching and supporting the implementation of systems for the electronic transformation and exchange of health information.

Mount Tabor works at all levels of health information technology development to transform legacy system-based (and often paper-based) health data and transactions into structured, portable, secure and interoperable health information - ready for exchange with other institutions, providers, and patient-accessible systems. The ultimate goal of everything we do is ready and rapid acceptance of health information products and services by data exchange systems, real-world provider organizations, and consumers, patients and their families.

Mount Tabor combines deep health data domain expertise - in particular, controlled medical vocabularies and codesets (e.g., SNOMED, UMLS, ICD9-CM, LOINC, CPT-4, NDC, etc.) - with the best information technologies and tools in use today. Our development team is technically diverse, flexible, creative, and equally skilled across the entire spectrum of Web 2.0 technologies, including both SOA and RESTful architectures; Java, .Net, Ruby and Python; and all leading development languages and data exchange protocols. We utilize iterative development methodologies, and work with both open source and proprietary technologies, depending on our partners' specific architectural choices and business needs.

We also provide a full continuum of planning, development, and deployment services, including post-development testing, third-party integration, and technical support.
